Richard Thorp, Managing Director took a visit to Pete’s Dragon’s in Exmouth last week to spread some Circle Christmas Cheer. Pete’s Dragon’s support family’s affected by suicide. This year they are putting together hampers to deliver to local families and Circle couldn’t wait to help!
So instead of posting Christmas cards to our clients, employees and colleagues, we have digitally sent our Christmas Wishes and used the fund to purchase a few trollies worth of Christmas food and drink to support Pete’s Dragon’s Christmas hamper ” Hug in a Hamper” campaign. Pete’s Dragon’s explain the campaign…
Bespoke, carefully thought out Christmas hampers to act as a message of support.
We provide life-affirming gifts through our Christmas Hug in a Hamper scheme, We hope that these gifts will bring a sense of shared understanding and support to those whose lives have been changed by the suicide of a loved one. They aim to break down the sense of shame and stigma that often surrounds loss through suicide.
“A very big heartfelt thank you for all the lovely donations that arrived yesterday. We were totally overwhelmed and they will go along way to helping the families we support. Please say a big thank you to all involved.”
