What is Social Work?

Social work is a practice-based profession and an academic discipline that promotes social change and development, social cohesion, and the empowerment and liberation of people. Principles of social justice, human rights, collective responsibility, and respect for diversities are central to social work.  Underpinned by theories of social work, social sciences, humanities and indigenous knowledges, social work     engages people and structures to address life challenges and enhance wellbeing. 

Where are your social workers based?

Our Social Work team is based in strategic geographical locations throughout England and Wales. The team currently cover York, London, Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham, Cardiff, Southampton, Exeter, Swindon.

What type of assessments do the social workers do?

The team can deliver mental capacity assessments, best interest assessments and general social work assessments. 

Do you provide DoLs assessments?

We don’t routinely supply Dols assessments, but this could be accommodated on a case-by-case basis.

How experienced are your social workers?

All our social workers have more than 5 years’ experience working with a diverse client case load.
