Brain injured man remains in own home

K is a man in his 50’s who sustained a traumatic brain injury, and then underwent a prolonged period of rehabilitation. At the time it was felt that K would not be able to live in his own house. Over the next 2 years with the support of his CM and a full team of directly recruited support workers and therapist K was enabled to remain in his own home. Not only this but subsequently with support he has managed to return to his passion of restoration of furniture which he is now selling privately.
